Arsenal moves back into the top four with a 2-0 win over Leicester in the Premier League.

Partey gave Arsenal an early lead when he headed in from a corner before smacking a shot off the crossbar minutes later.

Ramsdale also made two fantastic saves to keep out Barnes before the break.

VAR awarded the Gunners a penalty for a handball against Soyuncu, and Lacazette fired it into the top corner.

Leicester City couldn’t create anything to get themselves back into the game.

Starting Lineup:

ARSENAL STARTING XI (4-2-3-1): Aaron Ramsdale;

Cedric Soares, Ben White, Gabriel Magalhaes, Kieran Tierney;

Thomas Partey, Granit Xhaka; Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard, Gabriel Martinelli; Alexandre Lacazette.

ARSENAL SUBS: Mohamed Elneny, Bernd Leno, Zak Swanson, Nicolas Pepe, Nuno Tavares,

Emile Smith Rowe, Rob Holding, Albert Sambi Lokonga, Eddie Nketiah.

LEICESTER CITY STARTING XI (4-3-3): Kasper Schmeichel;

Ricardo Pereira, Daniel Amartey, Caglar Soyuncu, Luke Thomas;

James Maddison, Nampalys Mendy, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall;

Marc Albrighton, Kelechi Iheanacho, Harvey Barnes.

PARTEY SCORES! Martinelli swings the corner into the box, and Partey just drifts into space at the near post. The Leicester defenders lose him, and he’s able to flick it on, and it flies past Schmeichel. 1-0 Arsenal.

LACAZETTE SCORES! It’s a significant penalty from the Arsenal captain. He confidently steps up to the spot and stutters just before he hits it. Schmeichel dives the right way but cannot save it as the Frenchman fires it into the top corner. 2-0 Arsenal.

So, where else do Arsenal and Leicester go from here?

Arsenal moves back above Manchester United and West Ham into fourth, with three games in hands over the sides below them. But, unfortunately, it’s one of those matches next for them as they host Liverpool.

Leicester’s four-match winning run ends, and they stay in 12th. They have their Europa Conference League second-leg tie against Rennes next time out.
