Manchester City has allowed Angelino to remain at RB Leipzig in the 2020-21 season on loan.
RB Leipzig agreed to keep Angelino at the 2020-21 season squad extending the loan from Manchester City.
The arrangement grants an option for Leipzig semi-finalists in the Champions League to purchase Angelino on a contract forever until 2025.
In January Leipzig signed the left-back on loan, scoring one goal and supplying the club with five assists in 18 appearances.
“I’m very happy that I’m staying in Leipzig and that we can continue our journey together,” said Angelino on Twitter.
“The first six months with RBL were great; I had a lot of playing time from the start, I like the way the coach and the team approach the game. We also had a strong season in the Bundesliga and the Champions League.”
“I’m looking forward to the future and many more successful moments.”
