Juventus coach Andrea Pirlo, few days before taking charge of his first match with the Bianconeri, finished his UEFA coaching qualifications.
The FIGC declared that on his final test behind former Genoa manager Thiago Motta, who scored 108, Pirlo had scored 107 out of 110, rendering him the second-best student.
The 41-year-old paper examined the changing position of players on the pitch and as part of earning his UEFA Pro license, Pirlo was also required to write a thesis.
According to the FIGC, “Pirlo’s study analyses the adaptation” to the increasingly liquid context of plays, “using the terms written by the coach himself.”
