Alisson Becker, a goalkeeper of Liverpool, scored a stunning goal in the 95th minute against West Brom on Sunday to give his team a 2–1 win in the Premier League. Becker’s header from Trent Alexander-Arnold’s corner during the break helped the champions of last season keep Champions League hopes alive.

Striker Hal Robson-Kanu scored his first goal in 15th minute of the match, but Mohammed Salah equalized in the 33rd minute taking the scored board to 1-1, which remained constant until 90 minutes. In added time Alisson hit a brilliant goal in the 95th minute calling a win for Liverpool against West Brom at The Hawthorns.

With this win, Liverpool is now one point behind fourth-placed Chelsea and three points from third-placed Leicester City. Victories against Burnley and Crystal Palace will ensure the Reds make it to the top four and qualify for the Champions League.

Brazilian Alisson Becker lost his father in February and was “very emotional” after the amazing achievement. The 28-year-old told Sky Sports, “It’s very exciting. My family for everything that has happened to me in the last few months, but football is my life. I have been playing ever since I remember my father. I hope he was here to see her, but I am sure he saw her with God and he is celebrating.”

Liverpool remain fifth with 63 points in 36 games, one behind Chelsea in fourth and final qualifying position. Leicester City is in third place with 66 points and the last two will meet on Tuesday. Manchester City has already won the league this season.
