Goal.com reports that Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi was arrested on suspicion of rape after the reported incident at his apartment in west London.
The Metropolitan Police tweeted and said both they and the London ambulance service were alerted to a complaint from a woman in the early hours on May 17.
The statement added: “While medical personnel were in attendance, a woman confirmed being raped. She was taken to hospital. A man was arrested on suspicion of rape. He was freed from jail and bailed for return in mid-June on a date. Investigation proceeds.”
Hudson-Odoi was diagnosed with coronavirus on March 12, and just weeks after he recovered Sunday’s alleged incident came in.
